2018 Canadian Steel Conference Showcases the Steel Industry’s Most Innovative Projects & Advanced Technology!

The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) held their highly acclaimed Canadian Steel Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia from Sept 19-21, 2018. We gathered over 250 senior executives and key industry stakeholders from across Canada to learn, build relationships, develop businesses and celebrate steel—while having fun!This year’s technical program delivered a range of expert-led sessions covering popular topics and high- profile projects such as the Saskatoon Traffic Bridge, the Nova Centre and the Halifax Shipyard. We also extended our technical session topics to cover more aspects of the steel industry, including a special presentation on federal prompt payment legislation updates by Sharon Vogel, Partner at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP.

2017 Canadian Steel conference was a show-stopping success!

The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) held their highly acclaimed Canadian Steel Conference in Calgary, Alberta from Sept 27-29, receiving rave reviews and accolades from all the delegates and exhibitors in attendance.

The Canadian Steel Conference is the Canadian steel industry’s one and only national educational, business development and executive networking event, and the largest gathering of steel industry stakeholders in the country.

This year’s technical program delivered a range of expert led sessions covering popular topics and high- profile projects such as the new Champlain Bridge, Calgary’s new Central Library and Edmonton’s Rogers Arena & Ice district.
